Hello Everyone thank you for checking out Traditional Music of the Dominican Republic. My name is Kareem Mance-Santiago. I am Dominican-American and U.S. Navy Veteran. I created this website for my final project in my introductory music class. While this page will not be an exhaustive examination of the music, history and culture of the Dominican Republic it will give you a snapshot of some of these aspects of its people. I hope you enjoy and learn more about this Caribbean Jewel.
